Storgatan 19 is the address of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise’s property in Östermalm, also known as Näringslivets Hus. Built in various stages between 1957 and 1972, the building is now due for modernization to meet the organization’s mission and to manage the capital it encloses. In January 2020, protek was commissioned, in collaboration with the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise’s own organization and United Minds, to lay the basic strategy for a redevelopment of the property.
The actual redevelopment of the property will take place in several stages. NGage 2022, as the project is called, is a rebuilding of Näringslivets hus with the ambition to meet the change that society and thus the business community is in. The ambition is for Storgatan 19 to become a meeting place for the organization, business and politics. Together with the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, United Minds has developed clear guidelines for the identity that can be used in the transformation of the property.
protek is responsible for the strategic management of all sub-projects included in what it calls NGage 2022. protek also provides project management and construction management for the various sub-projects and phases.
